Masai Mara is one of the most sought after and liked wildlife Reserve in Africa. Wildlife can be sighted here through out the year even in monsoon months. Topography here with vast savannah grass lands, bushes, occasional Umbrella Acacias and other trees is congenial for Herbivores, Carnivores, Scavengers, various reptiles and large number of resident and migratory birds to survive and reproduce. The two rivers Masa and Talek that flow through Masai, the numerous rain water canals, lakes and other water bodies give support for the sustenance of these millions of wildlife populations.
So, it is no exaggeration that lakhs of wild life enthusiasts and photographers come to Masai Mara every year. It is almost impossible to cover and photograph all the wild life particularly with short visits as ours. We did some serious photography only during our last visit in September 2023. This book is
a modest attempt of narration of this visit along with a few photographs of some wild life animals and birds. We are extremely thankful to Tamma Srinivasa Reddy F.R.P.S (Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society) for his help and encouragement in bringing out this book.
