Modest Beginnings and Memorable Innings
Eaga Ravindra Born into a modest agrarian family in Nellore Andhra Pradesh, He began his journey as an ordinary photographer in life. His passion for photography since his infancy put him on tenterhooks. He relieved his pockets and attended various photo workshops and conferences convened by professional bodies across Bharat. He became a professional photographer in the year 2010 with specialisation in pictorial, nature, and travel photography. Enduring interest in photography took him to different parts of the world in search of radiant beams of light, fantastic sights of landscapes and vibrant aspects pastoral life. His photographs bagged honours from various photographic associations, both national and international. Some of the prestigious honours to mention are: Fellowship from IIPC (India International Photographic Society); Master of photography from ICS (Image Colleague Society), USA; Excellency Award from USPA-USA; Associateship from Singapore Photographic Society; Excellency Award from FIP (Federation of Indian Photography). His passion for travel photography drove him to remote corners of Bharat and other countries in the world. He documented lifestyles of indigenous tribes in places such as Araku valley in Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Assam, and Nagaland. Similarly, his repeated visits to rural Vietnam produced admirable travel documentary on the lifestyles of Vietnamese. His repeat visits had a focus on contoured landscapes and pastoral activities of people and families. He is a regular visitor to the Indian wildlife sanctuaries. His colour photography on sanctuaries has been thoroughly appreciated by professionals, amateurs, and the common viewers alike. Presently, he is a member of a few important international photography associations. With time, his interests too are travelling strengthened by renewed vigour and fresh alacrity.
